What is Infrared Light?

Infrared light is an invisible rays that produces heat once it hits matter. Nature brings us this healthy and healing infrared rays from the sun (no wonder sunshine feels so good!). It helps plants to grow strong & bloom, while also bringing many health benefits to humans too!

Unlike traditional saunas (which heat the body because the ambient air is hot), infrared rays actually warms the body from the inside out! The infrared light is absorbed by the body and gently stimulates a cascade of health benefits, including a deeper detoxifying sweat. Since the air in the sauna is not hot, it is easy to breath without feeling stifled for air, and its dry so you can even enjoy reading a book!

What to Expect:

  1. The infrared sauna is in a private room. You are welcome to sit in the sauna clothed, in a swimsuit, or even your birthday suit.

  2. Please bring a towel (or two) to sit on in the sauna and dry off with afterwards. There are towels provided if you forget yours, but bringing your own helps me out!

  3. The sauna is dry, so you can bring a book or other reading material if you wish. 

  4. Bring a water bottle. There will be water available to refill and Boulder Salt packets to add to your water to help restore electrolytes lost while sweating.

  5. Plan to shower shortly after your session, as you will have released toxins on your skin that you will want to wash off before going on with your day. There is not a shower on-site.

  6. Although this sauna is considered to fit one-person, two people may fit if this is comfortable for you both, and there is no extra charge.

  7. Please come hydrated!

Packages and Booking:

Sauna sessions are available to book for 30min, 45min, or 60min. I recommend starting with 30min, as this is often plenty of time to get a good sweat going and reap all the benefits of infrared rays. More is not always better! There will be a 15min grace period between sessions to give you time to get settled in and time to depart.

Sauna sessions can be purchased individually or save 20-25% when purchasing packaged sessions of 5 or more!
